WOVEN / contact / Marianna Maczová
A strong interest in art and an influence of my life long art teacher Maria Klimanova led me to study graphic design at the Secondary School of Arts and later architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, both in my hometown, Bratislava in Slovakia.
I have always tried to broaden my skills and knowledge in and around my field. This combined with my passion for discovering cultural nuances and life as such in different living environments led me to take part in diverse exchange programs during my studies (France, Denmark, Finland) or later shaped my professional path while working in Australia and Switzerland. Lately, I took part in voluntary projects related to building in Malaysia, Costa Rica and Panama. I am therefore very grateful for this always having been compatible with working on Woven projects.
